Our Management Career Path Programmes address the core issues and requirements common to most managers as they move through levels of responsibility. Sometimes however, a manager at any level can find they need to address particular skills in order to improve performance and the results they achieve. This is why we are evolving a series of programmes focused on specific challenges and skill areas.

Currently we offer the new online modules, a series of one-day skills workshops and three specific Management Skills Programmes.

One-Day Skills Workshops

Enrichyou’s historic focus has been in delivering programmes of coaching and training with our ‘little and often’ approach to the fore. Whilst a long term change or development programme has a deeper structure than a one-day skills session, Enrichyou has designed and delivered many thousands of individual days over the years. Sometimes, however, there is a good case for a single day to concentrate on a specific skill, and that’s what these sessions achieve.

People Skills Programme

People Skills ProgrammeThis programme forms each delegate as a confident and capable leader of people, helping them to develop character and skills that will last a lifetime and that will be used from first line management to chairmanship.

It develops new skills and strategies for any situation, ensuring greater confidence in approaching the role of leadership with extra self assurance.

Content highlights include:

  • How to lead individuals. Understanding people at many levels to unlock their aspiration and motivation and think for themselves so that they are happy to put their heart and soul into their work and your team. Specific skills for managing performance, establishing trust and dealing with difficult situations are also covered. The nature of human development over a lifetime is covered so as to be able to recruit effectively and manage succession with ease.
  • How to lead teams. Creating a team vision, recruiting the right people, developing inspirational, instructional and informative team briefs, and establishing team unity.A team is dynamic in many ways and all the major dimensions of this are covered to leave competent and capable team leaders able to handle anything that comes up.
  • How to manage organisationally. This addresses the challenge of managing sideways in a matrix organisation, when colleagues have their own agendas rather than a unified team objective. It also looks at the ways to get the balance of developing friendships with peers and remaining objective, and of being personally driven while also being a team player. Managing upwards is also a major issue examined: how to manage those with ‘power and influence’, be it senior managers, customers or other stakeholders.
